First Year Success Consultations
Your first year of college is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming.
What Are Success Consultations?
With so many resources available at Ohio State, it’s not always easy to know where to begin when you have questions or need support. That’s where First Year Success Consultations come in. These 30-minute virtual appointments connect you with the support you need to thrive at Ohio State. Each session is led by an FYE Peer Leader, an experienced student trained to guide you through campus life. They’ll help you figure out your next steps and point you toward the right resources.
These consultations are perfect if you’re looking to:
- Build your social network at Ohio State
- Manage your new-found college independence
- Find tools to help you master your busy schedule in and out of the classroom.
- Learn about and understand campus resources and services
What to Expect
During your one-on-one conversation, you’ll:
Share your questions, concerns or goals
Receive personalized recommendations for one or more campus resources
Leave with a clear next step to take and the resources you need to succeed
