Meet the Peer Leaders
College comes with a lot of change, and First Year Experience Peer Leaders are here to make the transition to college smoother. FYE Peer Leaders support new Buckeyes as they adjust to life at Ohio State, offering guidance, encouragement and connection.
Challenges during your first year are normal. FYE Peer Leaders get it. They’ve been right where you are, and they’ve trained to help students navigate essential campus resources, build community and feel confident in their journey as an Ohio State student.
FYE Peer Leaders are passionate about helping every student find their place and thrive at Ohio State, starting with orientation over the summer. First-year students will continue to hear from the FYE Peer Leader team during their first autumn semester on campus.

I’ve loved being here, but it is definitely different than I originally imagined. I am planning to become an actuary after college and there are so many firms here that are able to offer me both internships and jobs. Making connections: My favorite tradition is singing Carmen Ohio in The Shoe after every home football game. The students, players, and fans gather together to sing OSU’s alma mater no matter the weather, and I think it’s a special moment no matter how many times you’ve done it.

I got involved with the manga club, which is a pretty unique hobby, so it was amazing to see it was a thing that existed! I am now the president, and it has been an amazing experience.
