Orientation
Your First Real Step as a Buckeye.
Courses, Community, and Connections
Orientation is a two-day experience created to help you feel confident and prepared before your first week of classes. During Orientation, you will:
- Academic Support: You’ll sit down with advisors to explore your area of study, get a clear picture of your degree path and register for classes.
- Essential To-Dos: Use this time on campus to get your BuckID, talk through any questions with financial aid, and wrap up your placement testing.
- Beyond the Books: Meet your fellow first-year Buckeyes and get a feel for the student organizations and campus resources that will support you.
Once you’ve paid your acceptance fee, keep an eye on your mailbox and your university email inbox for orientation registration information. In the meantime, visit the Orientation website for a helpful "to-do" list to help you prepare.
