What is the Success Series?

Successful first-year students at Ohio State are those who learn how to utilize resources, resolve problems, and prepare themselves to take full advantage of their time on campus. The Success Series helps you become successful through short courses that address the common concerns and questions that first-year students have during their transition to university life.

First-year students are expected to attend a set number of sessions during autumn semester as a requirement for their survey classes. However, you are highly encouraged to attend as many Success Series sessions which interest you throughout
the year.

Numerous sessions are offered every term, with more than 300 planned just for autumn semester! All sessions fall under one of ten themes in order to help you choose from among a variety relevant topics and find sessions that interest you and fit into
your schedule.
