First Year Experience (FYE) programs are made possible in part by private support from alumni, community partners, parents and friends of The Ohio State University. FYE programs help students learn how to navigate the university, get comfortable on campus, challenge themselves and think of Ohio State as home.
The Ohio State University Fund for First Year Experience and University Orientation
We invite you to direct your support to The Ohio State University Fund for First Year Experience and University Orientation, our fundraising priority for 2016. Support for this fund will be used to enhance our programs that support students during their transition to college, contribute to retention, and aid in a student’s personal growth and leadership development. Donations to this fund will be used to assist the planning and administration of programs and finance student scholarships for programs with a participation fee.
First Year Leadership Collaborative Fund
The First Year Leadership Collaborative Fund is used to enrich and enhance the Leadership Collaborative, a conference that emphasizes strengths-based, ethical and peer-focused leadership to seed the incoming first-year class with leaders who will help lift the entire first-year student experience.
The Ohio State University Fund for Admissions Student Recruitment
The Ohio State Fund for Admissions Student Recruitment supports expenses relating to the recruitment of undergraduate students, including meals, supplies, services, and travel honorariums. Your support to the student recruitment fund enhances our student and counselor programs that help connect great high school students to a world-class education at Ohio State.
Supporters of FYE recognize that their patronage will support all new undergraduate students through the first months of the college transition and create conditions for success at The Ohio State University.
