It’s late September: all your friends headed off to college a month ago and you can’t wait to get out of the house. Get started at Ohio State by moving into your residence hall early and attending Camp Buckeye! Commuter students are invited too! Camp Buckeye is an exciting three-day, off-campus retreat that gives you the chance to make friends, participate in adventure team challenges, and get helpful hints about getting off to a strong start at Ohio State. Upper-class student facilitators and university faculty and staff will be on hand to share insider tips and welcome you to the Buckeye community.

Highlights

• Participate in team adventure activities: the high ropes course, zip line, and rappelling
  
• Bond with your small group (10 participants) while completing the Amazing Race,
  leadership challenges, and a 2-mile canoe trip
• Learn about Ohio State traditions and history around the campfire
• Enjoy camping in cabins at YMCA Camp Kern in Oregonia, Ohio
