Changing meal plans

After school begins, students sometimes discover that their meal plans provide too many or not enough meals. Students can change their meal plans from one plan to another until the second Friday of the semester (September 2).

Maintenance requests for residence halls

Students needing maintenance or custodial service for their room should notify University Housing and submit a work request. Students who experience a facility emergency can call 614-292-4357.











Add and drop deadlines

Add a course

  • Friday, August 26: last date to add online
  • Friday, September 2: last date to add a course without instructor’s written permission and $100 late add fee

Note: Enrolling in more than 18 credit hours will result in additional fees.

Drop a course

  • Friday, September 16: last day to drop without receiving a “W” on record
  • Friday, October 28: last day to drop without petitioning

Note: A reduction in hours may affect financial aid, benefits received under the GI Bill, automobile insurance, health insurance, residence hall contract, tuition waiver and/or visa status. Fee forfeiture dates also apply.

New students are strongly encouraged to talk with their academic advisor before adding or dropping any classes in their first semester.
